Nottingham Law School - Seminar on the Islamic Veil

As part of Cartwright King’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement we are sponsoring a Nottingham Trent University seminar, being organised by Nottingham Law School on Islamic face veil perspectives.

In recent years the niqab & burqa have become the subject of much debate across Europe. This seminar will see the legal profession, academic commentators and civil society present papers and discuss the legal, human rights and social issues in relation to the Islamic face veil.

If you would like to join in on the discussion it’s being held on 30th March 2015 from 10.30 am – 5.30 pm (with registration starting at 10.00 am) at The Court Room, Chaucer Building, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham. Please email to book your place.
