Cartwright King lead the way

Two lawyers with leading Nottingham law firm Cartwright King have been elected as chair and vice chair of the Nottinghamshire Junior Law Division (NJLD).

Prison law specialist Naomi De Silva has become the new chair whilst colleague and immigration specialist Rachel Harvey has been elected vice-chair.

The Nottinghamshire Junior Law Division represents the interests of recently qualified solicitors, trainees, paralegals and legal practice course (LPC) students with the local Law Society, the National Junior Lawyers Division and throughout the local business community whilst also acting as a forum for sharing information and ideas.

Naomi said,

“I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to take on this role and I am looking forward to the exciting challenges ahead. With Rachel in the position of vice-chair, I think it is fantastic that Cartwright King is so actively involved in the local law society and the legal profession in Nottingham. Having already worked on the NJLD committee as secretary in 2012, I am hoping we are going to have another successful year in 2013.”
