We would like to announce a number of key promotions at Cartwright King.
Sundeep Soor, a solicitor with more than 15 years experience in business and criminal defence law, becomes a Director at the company. Based in the Nottingham office, he has been involved in a variety of major fraud, regulatory and Proceeds of Crime Act cases.
Recognized in the UK’s leading legal directory “Legal 500” as “highly recommended,” Sundeep is a committee member of the Midlands Asian Lawyers Association as well as an executive board member of the Nottingham Indian Community Centre Association. He is also Director of Nottingham West Lions Club, part of the renowned charitable fundraising group Lions International.
Meanwhile, Ellen Nightingale, also based in the Nottingham office, has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate. Having joined the company in 2000, she is one of the few members of staff moving from Freeth Cartwright to form Cartwright King.
She fulfils a variety of roles including all aspects of Human Resources such as recruitment, induction and management of the support staff team. She fulfills an essential role in the smooth running of all personnel responsibilities.
Finally, Jacqui Holt, a specialist mental health solicitor working across Cartwright King’s East Midlands offices, has been made an Associate. She joined the company in 2003 and was a founding member of the Mental Health department in 2005.
Jacqui has been a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since 2008 and has represented a wide range of clients under all sections of the Mental Health Act at many hospitals throughout the region.
She represents clients in up to 100 Mental Health tribunals every year and has an extensive knowledge of the law in this complicated area.
