Kate Jackson is an associate solicitor in the Court of Protection department.
Kate brings with her extensive experience of Court of Protection personal welfare cases, acting for the incapacitated party or for their family members. She has advised and represented clients with legal issues across the spectrum of personal welfare cases, in particular, over disputes with residence, care and contact, capacity disputes around consent to sexual relations and marriage, forced marriage cases and cases involving deprivation of liberty.
Kate is also an accredited member of the Law Society’s Mental Health panel. She represents individuals detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 at tribunals.
Kate is committed to ensuring that legal assistance is available to those who need it and is passionate about helping vulnerable people and their families at what is often a very difficult time in their lives.
