Laura is a Director at Cartwright King.
Laura is a Central Management Director focusing on operations and performance management. Laura is also Head of the Immigration and Crown Court Departments, the latter encompassing CK Chambers, our specialist in-house barrister and solicitor-advocates.
Laura’s comprehensive knowledge of the firm and wider legal industry, coupled with her business acumen and people management skills, has seen her progress through the firm to her central management roles.
Laura has retained a small case load of serious fraud and confiscation matters. She has extensive experience of handling high profile, serious and complex cases, which has included successfully defending prosecutions brought by the CPS, HMRC, BIS and the NHS Counter Fraud Department.
Laura is Vice President of Nottinghamshire Law Society.
Laura is part of the Alumni Fellowship Programme at Nottingham Law School and a regular contributor to the Sutton’s Trust, Pathways to Law programme in conjunction with University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. Pathways to Law inspires and supports those from non-financially privileged backgrounds into careers in the legal profession.
