Lauren Crow is a solicitor in the Court of Protection and Community Care department.
Lauren has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of Court of Protection matters across both financial and health and welfare matters. She represents clients in complex proceedings covering a broad range of welfare issues, deprivation of liberty (including challenges thereto) and the often related issues of securing appropriate community care provision.
Lauren has worked on many cases where instructions are received from the Official Solicitor and has been involved in a number of cases which have resulted in reported judgments.
She as also been commended for her approach with clients and particularly those who lack capacity.
Lauren has extensive experience in the administrative court and advise and represent clients in complex judicial review cases across a number of legal disciplines. She has secured proper community care provision for clients and have successfully challenged decisions of hospital trusts to withdraw medical treatment.
