Mohammed Hafejee Makes His TV Debut
BREAKING NEWS
Cartwright King Immigration solicitor, Mohammed Hafejee, made his TV debut last night by featuring on ITV News Granada Reports.
The story he commented on focused on David Kamson, a chef from Nigeria, who arrived in the UK in 2004 on a two year student visa. His application to extended his visa was refused and he became an ‘overstayer’. Since then he has been fighting to stay in the country with multiple applications being rejected by the Home Office.
David is well-known to the local community who raised nearly £80,000 to keep him in business after his food truck, from which he traded, was burnt down by arsonists.
Mohammed discussed overstaying on a visa and getting leave to remain. (He can be seen 2m22s into the interview).
Well done Mohammed on a really informative story.
