Covid-19 – Response from CEO, Charles Metherell

Charles Metherell, CEO at Cartwright King Solicitors
As the impact of Covid-19 continues to be felt throughout the world, I am writing to let you know what Cartwright King are doing to ensure our clients continue to receive advice and support whilst we safeguard the health of our employees and their families.
The firm is well-placed to manage the current situation. 10 years ago we began setting up systems allowing our lawyers and staff to work seamlessly on client’s cases from their homes, courts, tribunals, hospitals, prisons and anywhere with internet and mobile phone coverage.
We also have an Internet Case Tracker which allows clients to dial in from anywhere in the world to view their documents online and to engage with their lawyer.
Although we are now working remotely our employees are well prepared enabling us to continue our provision of legal services with no interruption. We are still attending Court hearings, police stations and hospitals, at any time, in accordance with advice issued by the Government.
Emails and phone calls will be answered as normal.
Client Service
All Cartwright King employees are now working remotely so we are able to offer the following alternatives to face-to-face meetings but should stress we can still arrange to meet you in very urgent situations.
- Telephone – Existing clients can call on the usual office number and be transferred to the relevant legal professional.
- If you know the mobile number of the person you need to speak to then you may contact them directly. You can find the direct dial number for any of our legal professionals on their website profiles. For any new enquiries call us.
- Email – You can contact any of our team directly from their profile on our website.
- Online video platforms – If you have access to a computer or phone, we can be contacted via Skype. Your contact will tell you how.
For over 20 years Cartwright King has been committed to providing legal services to our clients. Please be reassured that our teams will continue to work on your behalf, and are taking all necessary means to ensure you are being provided with the service and advice that you as clients expect, even in these challenging times.
