Following the closure of UK Immigration Centres as the country locked down to curb the spread of Covid-19, activity to reopen has been set in motion.

Both UK Visa and Citizen Application Services, in conjunction with UK Visas and Immigration will be opening Service Points in a controlled and phased way from 1 June, 2020.

Customers who had an appointment postponed due to the closure of the offices will be contacted via email to rebook their appointments. If you have not yet received an email, it should arrive with you soon. Please keep checking your email for further information and updates.

If no appointment had already been made, then you will not be able to book one at this time, due to the amount that have been delayed by Covid-19. Constant reviews will be held on this system.

For more information on a visa application that you may have outstanding, please check the website at Immigration Guidance at GOV.UK.

UKVI are intent on the safety of customers and colleagues at this time, so initial openings will be in a reduced number of locations, with reduced capacity. This means that some regional offices are not part of the initial opening plan, they will open at a later date following continuous review.

There will be delays associated with this service as UKVI and UKVCAS operate within Government and Public Health England Covid-19 safety guidelines, and they will endeavour to get to all applicants as soon as possible.

If you have an application outstanding with UKVI or UKVCAS, and would like to discuss your options, then please contact Cartwright King Immigration specialists to assist. The team of experts can be found here.
