Cartwright King Solicitors is supporting a new joint initiative by domestic abuse charity, Hestia.

Safe Spaces, launched by Hestia as a part of its UK SAYS NO MORE CAMPAIGN, and facilitated by Boots, Superdrug and over 60 independent pharmacies across the UK. Safe Spaces, is an initiative where in-store consultation rooms become locations for victims of domestic abuse to access specialist support services.

Cartwright King will be providing free consultation and information for domestic abuse victims being supported by Hestia.

The firm has 20 years experience of supporting victims of domestic abuse and guiding them through the legal protections in place to see them safe. Additionally, the firm can offer access to Legal Aid where public funding will pay for an individual’s legal fees, ensuring victims of domestic abuse never need worry that they don’t have the money to ensure their safety.

During the lockdown, Hestia has seen a 47% increase in victims asking for information and support on their Bright Sky app.

Karen Brennan continued, ‘Our national team of domestic violence solicitors are working with Hestia to ensure as many people as possible find safety and solace with the full weight of the law on their side.’
