A Director in the Dock

On Tuesday 26th November, Cartwright King Solicitors and the South East Midlands Working Well Together Group held a joint event entitled “A Director in the Dock”.

The event recreated the trial of a Health and Safety Prosecution and included volunteers playing witnesses, the injured party and the Judge. It was attended by over 70 representatives from construction companies who saw events unfold, the defendants found guilty and sentence given.

The event was the brainchild of Cartwright King’s Imogen Cox, Director and Alex Radley, Head of Regulatory.

Alex said, Thanks to Imogen Cox for introducing the Working Well Together Group and Barretts Home Builders to our Firm.  Her work on the Mock trial was excellent and the relationship between WWT, Barretts and our Firm will grow from strength to strength.  The day was received well by all of the candidates and the Health and Safety officers at the event. A great day for the Firm.
