Fantastic Immigration Result

We was recently instructed to apply for a 6 month visit Visa, which was duly submitted with the necessary supporting information. The Home Office refused the application and discredited our client’s character and also ignored evidence of his financial ability to maintain himself whilst in the UK.
Sherena Lawrence, a member of our Immigration team, who represented the client, wrote a strongly worded letter of representation to the ECM for an urgent review of the decision, citing that she would be considering a Judicial Review as the decision was wrong in law. Within 24 hours, the Home Office conceded in light of her representations, they would overturn the refusal and grant the Visa.
There is usually no right of an appeal or administrative review for visit Visa’s, so this was really fantastic news for our client.
