Nottingham Solicitor in line for National Excellence Award

Sundeep Soor, Director and Head of Fraud & Tax at Cartwright King, based in Nottingham, has been shortlisted for the ‘Solicitor of the Year’ at the national Law Society Excellence Awards 2019.

The award recognises an outstanding contribution made by a solicitor in private practice who brings professionalism and commitment to all that they do. The judges will look for someone in a legal practice who goes ‘that extra mile’ for their clients.

The short-listing comes just weeks after Sundeep was named ‘Solicitor of the Year’ at the Nottingham Law Society Awards.

Sundeep has over 18 years experience defending high profile and complex fraud and regulatory cases. This includes currently supervising one of the largest cases prosecuted by the Serious Fraud Office, the HBOS bank corruption case , an international multi million pound pension fraud & extradition case, asset freezing orders  and HMRC tax investigations and disputes

Sundeep said,  ‘I am delighted to have been short-listed for such a prestigious national award.’

The awards take place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday 23rd October 2019.
