Job Specification


  • Responsible for developing, executing and delivering Cartwright King’s digital / online marketing strategy on budget. Managing all digital marketing channels such as Google Ads, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics. Ensuring branding and tone of voice is met, with a primary objective focus on lead generation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices to find ways to more effectively deliver the business objectives and any relevant systems integration.
  • Ideation for improving the design, usability, content and conversion points of the website and for the promotion and growth of the firm’s web properties.
  • Implement all online marketing campaigns including digital campaign collateral.
  • Review the performance of the Cartwright King website and for campaign reporting to ensure that revenue and costs per acquisition are managed and to ensure delivery of ROI.
  • Developing and executing plans to increase page views, unique visitors, dwell time and site ‘stickiness’ to encourage repeat usage whilst identifying trends, sometime through competitor analysis, and providing fast, accurate reports, optimising campaigns to produce the best return on investment for the organisation.
  • Manage and train team members on the use of digital technologies used by the Marketing team.
  • Managing the firm’s online reputation with the use of directories and reviews

Person Specification

Experience & Knowledge

  • At least 3 years experience in a Digital Marketing related role
  • Online Marketing & campaigns, using blogs, social media etc.
  • Experience using CMS (ideally WordPress) essential
  • PPC experience using Google Ads, Facebook Ads essential
  • Good knowledge of SEO and Google products such as Analytics, Tag Manager and Trends essential
  • Online reputation management essential
  • Email marketing desirable
  • Call tracking experience desirable
  • Digital graphics, Canva, Photoshop (or Gimp), Brochure production, Infographics, online banner design, online video an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written & verbal communications skills
  • Focused approach delivering to objectives & targets – ideally with experience of using task management software such as Trello
  • Team player
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to build strong internal & external relationships incl. with external vendors/3rd parties
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • BSc degree or CIM/IDM equivalent in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field
