We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join our successful national law firm.

Following our recent rebrand, we are looking for the right candidate to join our team and help take our marketing strategy to the next level, ensuring the new brand identity is successfully maintained and monitored to deliver expected changes.

This is a hands on role requiring someone who can think strategically as well as roll their sleeves up and execute.

Responsibilities

In the role you will undertake a variety of duties, including:

  • Lead the marketing function across branding, messaging and positioning, building and representing the brand across all key channels, audiences and segments.
  • Working closely with internal departments to implement innovative marketing strategies – generating leads for a range of different legal services.
  • Ensure internal departments have the materials and support they need to generate leads across their range of services.
  • Direct the marketing strategy including digital, creative, advertising, communications and public relations.
  • Manage the Cartwright King Brand, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to and that the brand is represented consistently.
  • Set, monitor & report on team goals & objectives aligned to the delivery of the marketing plan and Firm’s commercial goals
  • Manage marketing budget and spend effectively including measurement of ROI
  • Liaise with the external SEO and web agencies regarding tasks/projects towards improving user experience and search engine rankings

Person Specification

We are looking for the following qualities in candidates:

  • Professional services/legal services experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing role.
  • Experience successfully leading a small team.
  • Strong marketing background, with proven ability to articulate brand propositions.
  • Proven experience developing & delivering marketing plans and campaigns.
  • All round knowledge/experience, including digital marketing, PR and communications, social media, paid adverts, business development and branding.

The ideal candidate will also have the following qualities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Be flexible and able to work on their own initiative, prioritising workloads & maintaining deadlines.
  • Be a strong team player with a positive attitude and commercial awareness.
