Reporting to

You will undertake a variety of duties such as:

  • Manage, own and maintain the daily running of individual offices
  • Assist with the administration of the firm
  • To promote the values and vision of the firm throughout the office
  • Mini induction with new starters
  • Promote office tidiness

Attendance on clients:

  • All reception duties to include:-
    Attend clients on the phone and in person, dealing with them in a professional manner in conjunction with the relevant protocol


  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning of incoming post as directed
  • Distribute incoming post internally
  • Printing out and posting letters for lawyers/consultants who work remotely
  • Make and collect deliveries where appropriate
  • Post office runs
  • Tracking and scanning post office receipts
  • Courier collections


  • Booking of interview rooms via intranet

Other items:

  • Stationery orders
  • Monitor IT issues and report to IT
  • CJSM/secure email distribution
  • Arrange lunches/refreshments for meetings
  • Dealing with car park issues


  • Assist with office moves
  • Organise outside photocopying
  • Maintain property register and secure cabinet
  • Fire Marshall
  • First aider
  • Archiving
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required to include assisting fee earners with opening files, copying bundles
  • Dealing annually with all staff Display Screen Risk Assessments


  • Deal with day to day building maintenance issues
  • Organise collection of shredding and secure destruction to include discs
  • Building contact
  • Maintain/assist with various contract administration as required.

Person Specification

Candidate requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Excellent attention to detail while working to tight deadlines;
  • Ability to build good working relationships with members of the team and employees;
  • Ability to work proactively and with a can do attitude;
  • Ability to work effectively on your own initiative or as part of a team
