UK Visa Applications
Meeting the requirements of the Home Office UKVI can be a challenging task if you don’t have the necessary experience in dealing with immigration law. Our team can help you successfully complete your UK visa application, challenge a refusal decision or apply for an extension of your visa. We will liaise with the Home Office on your behalf to ensure that your rights are protected and you have the best chance of success in your case.
Cartwright King Solicitors work on visa-related cases in Middlesbrough both for:
- Private Clients: Whether you need a Student Visa to study in the UK, a Skilled Worker Visa to build a career here, a Spouse Visa to join your loved ones in the UK or a Standard Visitor Visa for a UK holiday, we can help you obtain it
- Business Clients: From applying for a Sponsor License to making Intra Company Transfers, we regularly work with UK-based employers who wish to hire foreign talent
If you already have a UK visa, you can discuss your long-term plans in the UK with us. Our immigration solicitors can also represent you if you wish to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or British Citizenship.
Challenging Home Office Refusal Decisions
When you don’t receive the decision you were hoping for on your visa or asylum application, we can look into your case and establish whether you have grounds to challenge the unfavourable decision made against you by the Home Office UKVI. Our immigration solicitors can appeal the refusal decision and work to reverse it so you can legally stay in the UK.
Have you experienced a delay in response by the Home Office that has resulted in prejudice against you? Cartwright King can also challenge a delay that has been caused by the Home Office and defend your rights.

Our Middlesbrough Office
Cartwright King Solicitors Middlesbrough opened doors in 2016 at 205 TAD Centre, Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough, TS3 7SF.
Our offices are located in the TAD Centre – Conference Centre which is easily accessible by car from the Middlesbrough city centre. Take Borough Road and turn right onto West Terrace and continue along Westbourne Grove on to Kings Road and then on to Ormesby Road.
Continue along Ormesby Road and take the second exit at the roundabout. You will then see Morrisons on your right-hand side. Continue down Ormesby Road until you see the TAD Centre.
If you are coming from the opposite direction on Ormesby Road, look out for the Ormesby Grange Care Home on your left-hand side, which you will see just before the TAD Centre.
You can use the on-site parking facilities at the TAD Centre (opposite the entrance to Oban Road).
Our office is located approximately 8 minutes away by car from the Middlesbrough train station, so if you are coming to visit us by train, we advise you to take a taxi from the train station taxi rank on Bridge Street West.
You can reach our office from the Middlesbrough Bus Station on Newport Road on foot in about 40 minutes but due to the long distance, we recommend taking a taxi rank (available outside on Newport Road) for a short 10-minute drive to our office.
Alternatively, you can use public transport and take a bus from the station to Ormesby Grange Care Home bus stop which is next to our office.
We're here for you.
