Festive Cheer for Local Homeless Support Centre

Cartwright King hopes to make Christmas a little brighter for Emmanuel House Support Centre as they donate a hamper filled with festive treats.

Emmanuel House based in Nottingham is a service that supports homeless, vulnerable and isolated adults in and around Nottingham. Welcoming over 2000 visitors a month, all of whom have complex and multiple needs, the 22 members of staff & 70 volunteers are committed to supporting each individual with various services such as mental health support, training and workshops, drug & alcohol support, a daily nurse and a core programme of social activities.

Being their busiest time of the year, Emmanuel House volunteers will continue to support service users throughout the festive season, including Christmas day. The staff and volunteers are already busy making preparations for the holiday season, including decorating their giant Christmas tree.

Rupert Hawke, MD at Cartwright King said: “We are always proud to get involved in supporting local services who really make a difference to the community. Through our commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility, we thought it would be a great idea to take along some festive cheer for those attending Emmanuel House over the festive break."
