Cartwright King proudly showed their support for World Mental Health Day by raising over £300 which has been donated to the Mental Health Foundation.
During the day, employees from Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds and Derby held a bake sale where members of staff made various treats which proved not only to be popular but more importantly raised a sizable donation.
Mental health solicitor and Director, Alison Ward said: “Thankfully mental health awareness is increasing and people are beginning to talk about it more. To help further this cause, Priscilla Moothien, one of our team of specialist mental health lawyers, suggested that we join in with the “tea and talk” in support of World Mental Health day. It was fantastic to see everyone at Cartwright King get involved and support this. The cakes and other bakes were eagerly anticipated and they certainly didn’t disappoint. I evidently work amongst some very talented bakers and even managed to rustle up an edible cake myself."
CEO, Rupert Hawke said: “Although development of Cartwright King and providing top quality legal service is among our main priorities, our core values are such that we make a point to support those in our community. I am very proud that our staff went to such great effort in taking part in World Mental Health Day and providing a kind donation to the Mental Health Foundation."
