Seminar: What constitutes a Deprivation of Liberty?

In light of the Supreme Court Judgment in Cheshire West and P & Q we are offering the following seminar. 

Cartwright King is delighted to host a discussion with Counsel instructed for M in Cheshire West and Chester, Mr Joseph O’Brien of St Johns Buildings Chambers, Sheffield, providing a unique insight into the arguments raised and the final Judgment with the opportunity for questions and answers following the presentation.

Joseph O’Brien acted in the landmark case Cheshire West and Chester and therefore has first hand insight, providing the best analysis of the decision and its ramifications on a day to day basis for those practising in this sector. He will answer the key questions on how the decision of the Supreme Court will impact on interpretation of Art 5 ECHR and what constitutes a deprivation of liberty.
