The court fees for lodging a Judicial Review have increased dramatically from 22 April 2014.
The court fees payable as of 22 April 2014 are:
- Permission to apply for Judicial Review - £140.00
- Oral hearing to repeat permission request if permission has been refused previously - £350.00
- If permission is granted and proceeds to a substantive hearing, then further court fees are applicable, either £700.00 if permission was granted in the first instance on paper or £350.00 where a further oral hearing was held and £350 has already been paid.
Further to the above there will be cost for your immigration solicitor handling the case and the fees of a barrister which will be required to draft the grounds and appear in the High Court if the matter proceeds to a hearing.
