About Amanda
Amanda Oakden has worked within the family law sector since 2015 and is currently a Trainee Legal Executive.
Amanda has a Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice and is completing her Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice with CILEX, to become a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Family Law.
Amanda won the award for Training Lawyer of the Year with the Bolton Law Society in 2022. Amanda also won the Community Champion Award at the Resolution Awards in 2024, which recognises the charity work Amanda has been involved in within the Greater Manchester area and her commitment to giving back to her local community, and helping those who are vulnerable.

As a Trainee Legal Executive specialising in family law, Amanda assists clients with a wide range of matters involving children including child arrangements, parental responsibility and public law proceedings. Amanda provides compassionate and practical support throughout what can often be an emotional process, helping clients navigate issues such as contact disputes, care proceedings and applications to the Family Court. Working under the supervision of experienced solicitors, Amanda is committed to ensuring each client receives clear, informed advice and representation focussed on achieving the best possible outcome for the children and families involved.
