Her legal background has focused on children and family law. She represents parents, grandparents and children in all types of public children law cases, including care proceedings, applications for emergency protection orders, special guardianship order proceedings and adoption proceedings.
Charlenne regularly represents clients in cases involving allegations of non-accidental injuries, complex medical issues, allegations of domestic violence and drug and alcohol issues. Charlenne is skilled at representing parents with learning difficulties and mental health issues, as well as the Official Solicitor.
Charlenne undertakes the majority of her own advocacy. She holds Legal Aid Supervisor status for family law work.
