Cyrus Rashvand specialises in Child Care law, and is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel. With over nine years of experience, Cyrus regularly represents clients in court for both public and private law children act proceedings. Notable Cases

• Re JN (A Child) [2019] EWHC 850 (Fam) – representation of a mother in proceedings where the question was in relation to placement of the child with a relative outside of the jurisdiction.
• Re B (A Child) [2025] EWFC 92 - Cyrus acted for the child, through the Children’s Guardian, in care and placement proceedings concerning a six-month-old baby. Due to the mother’s longstanding drug misuse, lack of engagement with antenatal services, and the absence of alternative carers, the court found that the only orders capable of meeting the child’s immediate and lifelong welfare needs were Care and Placement Orders for adoption.
