About Gayle

Gayle began her legal career in 2004 as a legal secretary and pursued her legal studies through Ilex Law School. She progressed into a paralegal role and was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2013, specialising in Family Law.

Gayle has extensive experience across a broad range of family law matters and is known for her empathetic and client‑focused approach. Her expertise includes Local Authority involvement, such as pre‑proceedings, care proceedings and placement proceedings, as well as divorce, domestic abuse matters and disputes relating to child arrangements. She has acted on behalf of parents, grandparents and intervenors in both private and public law proceedings.

Passionate about family law and committed to sharing her knowledge, Gayle is dedicated to supporting and inspiring the next generation of legal professionals. In 2019, she moved into a managerial role at her previous firm, where she was responsible for the management and training of family paralegals and administrative staff, as well as overseeing a team of apprentices.

Gayle now assists the Director in the North at Cartwright King in managing and supporting teams across the region.

Outside of work, Gayle enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
