Peter Yirimambo is a Litigation Executive with a focus on serious crime, financial crime, and regulatory matters.

Peter has extensive experience in the most serious of criminal cases, confiscation proceedings, as well as restraint proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act.  He has represented individuals engaged in regulatory proceedings and matters of professional discipline, before the HCPC, NMC, BACP as well as the ACCA.  He’s also represented individuals and companies in matters investigated and prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive.

Peter currently represents a Defendant in a multi-handed joint enterprise attempted murder and firearms conspiracy, in addition to a defendant in a 19 handed conspiracy charged with supplying class A drugs and money laundering. He also advises the lead defendant in a large scale Conspiracy to Defraud Transport for London.

Peter is conscientious and measured in his approach to each matter.  This, together with his ability to foster a strong client rapport, makes for highly effective representation and a good quality of service. Peter’s attention to detail lends itself to complex cases and types of evidence, from accounting to telephone and cell site evidence.

Notable cases

R –v- FI:  Represented a client in a matter involving charges of revenge pornography.

Wales Police investigation – BP: Acted for a company director regarding an investigation into an allegation of gross negligence manslaughter on a worksite. HSE Enforcement notice appeal:  Also represented the director’s company, in appealing the associated HSE-enforced  prohibition notice before the employment tribunal.

R –v- AA Acted for an individual acquitted of all charges stemming from allegations that he formed part of a grooming gang accused of sexual offences

R –v- SR (Confiscation Proceedings):  Acted on behalf of a defendant in confiscation proceedings stemming from a conviction for a Fraud of the DWP worth in excess of £1 million.
