About Rachael
Rachael graduated in 2009 with a LLB Law (Hons) from the University of Bristol. Rachael completed the LPC in 2012 at the University of Sheffield, receiving a distinction. Rachael was a family law paralegal for 2 years prior to undertaking her training contract. Rachael undertook family law seats during her training and qualified in 2017 into family law.
After qualification, Rachael worked in the south west covering a range of family law mattersincluding divorce, finances, domestic abuse and children work. Since 2020, Rachael has worked in Greater Manchester and has specialised in children and domestic abuse matters.
In 2019, Rachael became The Law Society Family Law Advanced Accredited with categories in violence in the home and private children law. Since this time Rachael has been a legal aid supervisor.
Rachael undertakes legal aid and privately paying work. Rachael has a keen interest in complex children matters, both private law and public law. Rachael has represented mothers, fathers, grandparents and relatives in proceedings. Rachael has an ambition to become a member of the children panel to represent children in care proceedings and private law proceedings.
Rachael has a significant amount of experience with domestic abuse matters. Rachael uses this experience when working on private law and public law matters that have a domestic abuse element.

Rachael represents her clients in Court and is highly regarded for her empathy, straight talking approach and client care. Rachael cares about her clients and strives to get the best results for them.
Outside of Work
Rachael has previously provided free advice at a women’s centre.
