Robert Wetton is a Solicitor in the Criminal Defence department at Cartwright King's Derby office.
He has over 30 years of experience in the Criminal Justice system, starting as a Solicitors clerk in the late 1980s before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1995. Since qualifying, Robert has represented clients whilst operating in Ilkeston, Burton-on –Trent and Derby.
Robert considers himself to be ambitious and hard-working. He has a passion for criminal defence work and an excellent rapport with clients, facilitating referrals and repeat business. He appreciates the need for efficiency and compliance with the ever-changing demands placed upon us in publicly funded work. Robert focuses on professionalism and is dedicated to achieving the best results for clients.

Away from work, Robert was a Semi-Professional footballer until a knee injury in the 1980s ended his career. However, he remains a keen football fan, supporting Derby County FC. He also enjoys watching Arsenal FC and is a huge Lionel Messi fan.
