She represents a range of clients; children to older clients and from general psychiatric hospitals to high secure hospitals. She is an expert in all Sections and therefore can represent anyone.
I always ensure effective communication and I take pride in ensuring that my clients are fully updated as to what is happening with their case and they understand what is happening.
I do love the sense of achievement when a client is discharged from Section and allowed to go home but I take just as much pride in knowing that client’s have been empowered to be involved in their Tribunals and have a hearing in which they feel they have been listened to and been effectively advocated for.
I am on the mental health lawyers association committee member because I am committed to ensuring that the standard in the profession is as high as it can be.
