Sarah-Lyn Strong is a Court of Protection and Community Care Solicitor based in our Leeds office. Sarah-Lyn has 8 and a half years experience in adults social care law, 6 and a half of which has been as a qualified solicitor. Community care and Court of Protection cases can present a number of complex, inter-linked problems and Sarah-Lyn considers herself to be a guide, assisting people to navigate the social care system. Where issues are intricate and multi-faceted, she enjoys solving the problems and achieving positive outcomes for the benefit of individuals in need of social care. Sarah-Lyn strives to make the process as simple and as accessible as possible for individuals and their families and provide support every step of the way.
Having trained and spent the early years of my career in a local authority legal department, I have a detailed knowledge of adult social care related issues, including Court of Protection and disputes about support packages and direct payments. I am excited to now be in a position to apply that depth of knowledge for the benefit of vulnerable clients and their families. I am passionate about the importance of effective and efficient social care systems and the difference this can make to individuals who really need skilled support to thrive.
In my spare time I can generally be found either painting at my kitchen table, curled up with a historical fiction or fantasy novel, or watching an action movie with my husband and our rescue cat.
