Background
Having devoted approximately 13 years to specialising in employment law, Shereen embarked on her legal career in employment legal aid after completing her LPC at the College of Law in Chester. Initially, she served as a Claimant representative, providing invaluable support to Claimants across a wide range of employment tribunal claims, including expert representation during Employment Tribunal hearings.
During this period, Shereen also shared her expertise by teaching employment law courses at levels 3 and 6 for CILEx at the Law Academy in Liverpool.
In 2013, with the discontinuation of legal aid for employment law, Shereen expanded her knowledge by attaining a CIPD level 5 in HR Management. This shift led her into Respondent work, where she offered her counsel to businesses of diverse sizes and industries, addressing every facet of employment law.
Most recently, Shereen assumed the role of an Advocate, zealously representing Respondent clients at Employment Tribunal hearings throughout the country. This included participation in Case Management Hearings, substantive preliminary hearings, reconsideration hearings, and full merits hearings.
With her extensive experience spanning both Claimant and Respondent representation across the entire spectrum of employment law, Shereen brings a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to every case she takes on.
