Stephanie Oxley


Court of Protection

Stephanie Oxley is a Court of Protection Solicitor based in our London office.

Stephanie believes Mental Health and Mental Capacity Law to be a challenging and rewarding career and is well practised in representing clients at Care Programme Approach Meetings, S 117 Meetings and Hospital Managers’ Hearings.

Stephanie is also able to represent vulnerable clients who lack capacity in matters before the Court of Protection. She receives instructions from the Official Solicitor and family members in matters concerning capacity and best interest.

Stephanie is extremely passionate about Human Rights and the client is always Stephanie’s first priority. Stephanie has previously worked in Immigration Law, but has always had a personal interest in Mental Health & Mental Capacity Law.

Stephanie Oxley completed her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Science (MSc) in Business and Law Management at the University of Law in Guildford with a Distinction grade. Prior to this Stephanie graduated from University having completed her Single Honors LLB Law Degree having achieved a Distinction in the Masters of Law LLM, specialising in Human Rights Law. Stephanie is a law society accredited panel member and has attained Higher Rights of Audience (Civil).

She is dedicated to making a difference and in her spare time greatly enjoys organising and partaking in numerous charity events, with her most recent being for a local Mental Health charity. Stephanie also enjoys reading and being both mentally and physically challenged.
