About Sundeep
I have 11 years of experience as a solicitor in this area of law. I first came across this area of law when I was undertaking a work experience placement in a Mental Health law firm, whilst at the same time studying for my Legal Practice Course. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to specialise in this field once I qualified as a solicitor.
I ensure my client receives a full opportunity to outline there case and what they hope to achieve clearly. I like to ensure my clients feel they are being listened to as I feel this is especially important in this area of law when someone is being detained against their own will. I will keep my client informed throughout the case and update them at each stage. I will liaise with all the professionals involved to progress my client’s case to assist in getting my client’s desired outcome.
I represent clients on section 2 and section 3. I also represent clients on forensic section such as section 37/41, these are individuals who have gone through the criminal justice system and then received hospital orders which result in their detention in psychiatric units.
In my spare time I enjoy going for walks and going to the gym. I also have a specialist interest in interior design.
