About Yvette

Yvette Wadeley is a CILEX Litigator and Advocate at Cartwright King Solicitors, with over a decade of experience representing clients in family matters. She specialises in Child Care and is multi-faceted across all family law domains. She started her legal career in 2009 and qualified in 2018, works alongside a specialist team ranked ‘the Legal 500 leading law firm 2024’, oversees and supports client’s in reaching successful resolutions. Yvette is dedicated and finds it incredibly motivating to use her analytical skills to tackle issues and advance constructive legal arguments to efficiently achieve positive results. 

Yvette is also an independent funding adjudicator, assessing and determining the merits of legal aid eligibility. She is proud to be the first female Chartered Legal Executive to fulfil this role. Furthermore, Yvette is passionate about lending her skills to support others and annually participates in pro bono initiatives.

Outside of her legal role, Yvette enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle with a particular interest in badminton.
