Denise Gorman is a Legal Executive with over 16 years experience in General Private Client and Court of Protection matters.
She enjoys the variety Private Client law offers and can advise on the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, General Powers of Attorney, Registration of Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, including Grant only applications, full administration or offer a bespoke estate administration service, and Deeds of Variation.
Denise also has considerable experience in Court of Protection cases involving applications to appoint Property and Financial Affairs Deputies, which can arise as a result of lack of capacity for any number of reasons – illness, learning difficulties, autism, dementia or Alzheimer’s and also compensation awards following injury.
Denise’s Court of Protection experience means she will also be working closely with Yvonne Chapman, a solicitor in the Court of Protection and Mental Health department who joined the Court of Protection’s Panel Deputy List in 2015.
Denise also deals with Trustee applications, Statutory Will applications and Gift applications.
Denise has always had an interest in working with and protecting vulnerable adults and enjoys the variety of cases she deals in, hence her also becoming an Associate Member of Solicitors of the Elderly.
