Cartwright King’s pricing model is completely transparent and we can offer a number of fixed fee packages for our schools admission appeals services, which include:
- “Normal round” admissions for primary and secondary schools
- In year admissions/transfers for primary and secondary schools

Package A – written representations – £500 plus VAT
You will need to:
- Complete and submit your initial appeal form
- Represent yourself at the admissions appeal hearing (both stage 1 and stage 2)
We will:
- Draft and submit the written representations in support of your appeal
- Draft further written representations if needed after consideration of the admission authority’s evidence (reasons for refusing your child a place)
Package B – written representations and hearing – £850 plus VAT*
You will need to:
- Complete and submit your initial appeal form
We will:
- Draft and submit the written representations in support of your appeal
- Draft further written representations if needed after consideration of the admission authority’s evidence (reasons for refusing your child a place)
- Represent you at the admissions appeal hearing (both stage 1 and stage 2)
Package C – hearing – £600 plus VAT*
You will need to:
- Complete and submit your initial appeal form
- Draft and submit the written representations in support of your appeal
- Draft further written representations if needed after consideration of the admission authority’s evidence (reasons for refusing your child a place)
We will:
- Represent you at the admissions appeal hearing (both stage 1 and stage 2)
*Travel to and from each hearing will be charged at the reduced rate of £100 plus VAT per hour (in 15 minute increments) with an additional 45p per mile for journeys by car or reasonable public transport fares. We will always agree travel fees with you in advance once all the relevant information is known.
*Unavoidable waiting time will be charged at the reduced rate of £100 plus VAT per hour (in 15 minute increments).
